Gathering Sunshine

This poem I thought was so cool, I needed to put it up on my front page. Enjoy it, or I’ll make your life a living hell.

I gather the SUNSHINE

        For the winter is gray

                It is grayer than grayer

        Than a thousand storms

                                                                        And colder than colder

Than a thousand seas

And darker than darker

Than a thousand nights

So I gather the sunshine

For the winter is hard

So the sun and I may shine again

And we will shine

And shine

And SHINE
