A New Poem

So, world, my first post on WordPress. I’m into writing poems, as all emo peoples be, so here’s one for your imaginative entertainment. It’s both a lullaby and a prophecy for a book I’m currently writing.

“Come Away, oh human child-

Away to the Faerieland!

For the World’s more full of weeping

Than you could understand

 

Love and hate and death collide

Woven close as one

Dark meets Light in close embrace

Shining like black sun

 

Spinning ‘cross the realms

In Crowning Twilight’s last gleaming

Together, hand in hand with death

We’ll pass into the Dreaming

 

Come Away, oh human child-

Away to the Faerieland!

For the World’s more full of weeping

Than you could understand…”
